Volunteer Today! We’ve got company coming!
In less than 300 days, guests from around the country (and the world!) will visit Charlotte for the 2012 Democratic National Convention. For four days there will be an international spotlight on this city. The first person many of our guests will encounter when they arrive in Charlotte will be a volunteer. We all know that first impressions leave lasting impressions, so we want to welcome our guests with a touch of the southern hospitality that the Carolinas are known for.
The Charlotte in 2012 Convention Host Committee has been working hard for months to make sure that Charlotte is ready for that spotlight and now we need your help. We are looking for approximately 10,000 volunteers to help us put this convention on and showcase Charlotte. So, if you want to be a part of this historic event and show our guests why Charlotte is a great place to live, then we want you to volunteer!
